In addition to the numerous tobogganing opportunities for children, mostly in the immediate vicinity of the lift and suitable for skid plates and children’s bobsleigh, there are natural toboggan runs of different lengths and difficulties in almost all 15 locations.

They are particularly suitable for an evening tobogganing fun.

In the Lungau there are ideal conditions for the perfect exercise of this innovative, relaxing and gentle way of getting around.

A broad network of paths for young and old offers a variety of opportunities to discover the Lungau and its people.

Balloon week

Every year in January the famous “Fire & Snow” balloon week takes place. Up to 40 hot air balloons start their journey here every day.

At the start of the balloon week, the now traditional “Night Glow” takes place. Hundreds of spectators are expected each year.

Everything is dedicated to the team, which during this week lets the balloons rise over the heights of the Lungau every day from 10:00 a.m.
