Thanks to the healthy altitude, you will find the best snow conditions here until late spring. Modern, powerful lifts take guests to the highest peaks in the shortest possible time. Once there, beginners and pros can choose between 300 km of magnificent slopes, including Obertauern, ranging from family-friendly slopes to challenging deep snow slopes. Skiing idyll without stress and without long queues. Whether skiing or snowboarding - in the Lungau with the ski areas Katschberg-Aineck, Fanningberg, Großeck-Speiereck and Obertauern you will always find perfectly groomed slopes.
SUMMER
A clearly marked network of hiking trails, which inspires tried-and-tested walkers and experienced mountaineers, but also long walkers, stress escapers and nature pilgrims, offers hiking routes for every condition of the day. Rustic huts and cozy snack stations invite you to linger and strengthen yourself. The Lungauer Almsommer also convinces with its service, scores with cosiness and specialties from the region.
